Information transformed into values used for computing. In terms of Broadband, data can be referred to as the volume or limit downloaded from the Internet (download or usuage limit). Quantity usually measured in Megabytes (MB) or Gigabytes (GB) units. Internet Service Providers usually charge for what is downloaded (data received), as opposed to what is uploaded (data sent).
