How does it all work

On a collective level, the internet is a unique entity made up from an interconnected collection of networks. Nobody owns the Internet, nor does anyone know who made up its name (believed to have originated from the term ‘internetworking’ or ‘interconnected network’). The 'engine room' of the internet are the 'servers' which run 24/7 365 days of the year. Servers are the HUB of the Internet, as they are the location where all information is stored and accessed.
