Megabit - Mb
A Megabit is a single numeric data value that measures 1,000 kilobits (abbreviated to ‘mb’ or ‘mbit’). Very fast data speeds are generally referred to in megabits rather than megabytes. E.g. 24,000 kbit/s = 24Mbps # Note: the lower case ‘b’ is used to represent Megabit (mb/s) while an upper case ‘B’ represents Megabyte (MB/s)
1 mb/s = 1000 kilobits per second (1 million bits)
1 MB/s = 1024 kilobytes per second (1,048,576 bytes)
