What is the Internet
The best place to start would be to dispel any misunderstanding that the Internet and World Wide Web is the same thing, in fact they're entirely different. Using fibre optic cables, copper wires, and wireless connections, the Internet is the 'means' of which the World Wide Web is connected. Simply speaking, the Internet is a network of connected computers that is used to receive and transmit information across the world. Whereas the World Wide Web is a collection of information (a service) that was created to access the Internet by using URLs, (Uniform Resource Locators) and Hyperlinks.
