What Plan set up options are available

Common Plan set up options are displayed below and may be subject to various charges depending on the ISP selected.

**Connections:** A connection fee is usually a ‘once off charge’ that is incurred when connecting a new broadband Internet Service to your home for the first time. If you are switching providers, a cheaper option may be eligible to you titled ‘transfer from another provider’. Both options will vary in price according to the special offers and set up costs offered by the respective Provider at the time.

**Installation:** New comers to the Internet might find Broadband installation a daunting task. Some Providers supply an extra option for professional installation (if required), at a charge of course. Although nowadays, most services come with installations guides and or support from the respective Provider’s help desk or technical support section.

**Hardware:** Common hardware items required to connect to Broadband Internet are as follows:

**Modem or Router** (option of wireless, single or multiple ports)

**Mobile Card** (wireless access)

**Line Filter** (enables ADSL Broadband and Phone use simultaneously)

**Bundles:** Almost every Broadband Plan now comes with Bundle options. When bundling your Broadband Internet service with another service such as Home phone; Mobile phone; or even a Pay TV service, it usually results with a further discount being added to your Broadband Monthly fee.
