Which Broadband products are available to me
**ADSL & ADSL2/2+**
ADSL services are readily available throughout Metropolitan and Provincial areas of Australia _(Most Telephone Exchanges)_. Whilst ADSL2+ services are only available in some areas, networks are constantly being rolled out, hence availability will be limited. To determine whether your telephone exchange have these service enabled, contact your preferred Internet Service Provider.
*Note# Typical ADSL2/2+ connection speeds will vary depending on factors such as line quality; your location distance from exchange; signal strength; line filters; hardware and routing.*
**Cable**
Cable Internet is usually available to most households in major metropolitan areas. However, prior to signing up for this service, you will need to check the availability in your area by contacting one of the Cable Service Providers (Optus or BigPond). They will simply ask for your street address to determine whether or not Cable is available.
**Wireless**
Wireless is currently available in most areas with some networks extending their services to rural and remote regions of Australia _(reaching about 98% of the population)_. Contact your preferred Internet Service Provider to determine availability.
**Satellite**
Satellite Broadband coverage extends to almost every location in Australia. Its flexibility is an ideal option for those in remote, marine, regional and rural areas who otherwise cannot access the Internet. Contact your preferred Internet Service Provider to determine availability.
