iPad pricing has yet to be announced in Australia although the Wi-Fi models are shipping in March.
3G Models begin shipping in April and the Australian carriers are lining up to provide plans. The iPad uses a micro sim rather than a regular sim although it might be possible to cut down a regular sim.
Portable 3G wireless modems like the Virgin Wi-Fi (MiFi) allows users to connect to devices like the iPad and iPhone (up to 5 devices) using simple Wi-Fi.
